A Time of Transition
  • During 1968, 1969 and 1970 the club was at a standstill for need of facilities, and membership fell to a low of five. The summer of 1970 was spent at Southport. The following spring John Benson invited the club to operate out of Benson Airport in White Bear Lake, and the club began to grow and remain active.
